it’s always like this

old school

Filed under: maybe it's me, perfect strangers — notsojenny @ 8:34 am

just so you know what i mean by “literally write sideways” i write down the page instead of across, does that make sense?  so when you write the bottom of the page is closest to you, right?  when i write the right side of the page is closest to me.  i’ve seen other lefties do this too… i took a picture while i was writing this to show you what i mean (husbands pj top, thermal pants, chapped lips and all… enjoy : )

ps. i would love to see your handwriting!

  1. I’m so scared to do this post b/c my handwriting is SOOOOOO bad! But I totally know what you mean about writing down the page. I’m a righty but I write like a lefty (aka above the page, pushing the pen down instead of below the page and pushing the pen up) and everything I write is super smudgey :(

In school, people ALWAYS knew when I’d had a written exam b/c the entire side of right hand would be covered in ink.

  2. Wow I am so glad I’m not the only one with a hybrid writing system!! I do the Cursive/Print and end up doing caps in forms until I get halfway to the bottom and forgot I was doing it that way. I’m like a word processer with different fonts. If I’m going slow and steady I can be Times New Roman. If I’m rushing it looks more like Webdings… My meeting notes look like 3 different people wrote them haha

  6. I love this idea! I think i’m going to do it one time soon. Also, I think a lot of people write in a combo of script and print!
