wtf house pt.2

Filed under: our house — notsojenny @ 9:04 am

yes, i am totally giving out arbitrary numbers to all the things in our house that make me say WTF?!?

WTF House #52
i mean, c’mon, as if this wasn’t ridiculous enough… who has these in their house after 1991?  shouldn’t they have been removed along with the white leather sectionals??

WTF House #221
just, why?  it’s one thing that ALL of the doorknobs in the house aren’t the same metal, but to have different metals on the same door??  the worst part is this isn’t the ONLY door like this in the house!

WTF House #1
this is absolutely my #1 peeve in the house.  it’s an atrocity.  a crime against vision in general.  to start with – flourescent lighting has no place in a home.  No. Place.  but to take it and put double the units in this giant ugly box taking up the entire center of my kitchen ceiling, hanging about a foot from the popcorns… seriously?!  WHO thought this looked good?  i mean i just can’t believe someone did this and stepped back to look at it and went “YES!  it’s Perfect!”
taking a sledge hammer to this thing is the project i’m looking forward to the most!

  2. Yeah…my senior year apartment had that mirror wall thing. The guy who had the bottom bunk had his wall space covered in mirrors. Right. I was just SO GLAD that I didn’t inherit his bed. YUCK!

Also…I would LOVE to have bubblewrap walls. Only problem is that they would be bubbly for like, 20 minutes before I just went pop crazy haha!
