something blue
okay, so this is where i’ve been stuck and still am.  and recently my mom was looking at outfits and she’d picked out a blue one.  i was thinking GREAT she can be my something blue, but then she found a different one in champagne and bought that instead (for the record, i’m thrilled about this as the first one reminded me too much of stevie nicks anyway).  so now it’s up to M.  we recently went to Nordstrom for the men’s sale and he found a gorgeous blue suit that he looked ridiculously sharp in.  as much as i hate blue and was thinking it would never go with everything else i don’t care… this suit is so very handsome.  so if he ends up getting that he’ll be my something blue.  however, if he doesn’t, i guess i’ll resort to pinning something blue under my dress or something like that.  i don’t know.  any ideas on what can be blue that won’t be noticeable?
no, i’m not going to wear a garter.  no, i will not have blue undies on as they’ll show through my dress (i think).  and yes, i’ve thought about having my new initials and wedding date embroidered in blue but just really don’t feel like paying for something so useless.  any other ideas?

  3. what about a lace hankerchief or something that has blue embroidery? or maybe you could take one little blue flower and put it in your bouquet, but small enough that it wouldn’t be noticable?

  4. The pin with the stone of the engagement month is such a neat idea.

I wore a pair of Calvin Klein light blue lacy underwear. I feel like the lace made the blue less noticeable, and you could not see them at all through my dress, but obviously that depends on your dress fabric. Not sure if CK still makes that pair, but they were the perfect blue item :)

  5. My something blue was my throwaway garter. It even had a bluebird on it. :)
