so i’ve already mentioned before that i’m coveting this dress
we’re going to change at the end of our wedding reception and go out on the town with our friends, and i think this dress would work so well. it’s still white, meaning i’ll still feel like The Bride but it’s also not too bridey so i’ll definitely get to wear it again.
but i haven’t purchased this dress yet. M gave me the all-clear on the funding as i was wavering with spending this much on another outfit for this one day. when i went to purchase it (back in February) it said that they’re not actually coming in until May. that bought me time. time to debate and waffle.
so waffle i have. i’ve started contemplating finding more of a party dress… but i’m having a tough time. i definitely want to stick with something white/ivory but now i’m thinking i want poof… some fluffy.
if i could have a dress made it would be this one… but in off-white. to me it’s perfect (of course i’d also be open to it in any other color if i could find it… for less than $2k).
i’d even be up for something a little puffier like these… but they’re actually marketed as wedding dresses so they’re too pricey also.
then there’s this beauty but i’d probably stick with the Maggy above if i were to go with sheath (i’m sure i’m just in love with the bow, and the sleeves are too long for august but seriously, love it)
anyone happen to see a puffy white(ish) dress that falls under $150? just curious… if you happen to come across something by all means let me know, maybe i’ll even give you a commission : )
