it’s always like this

no

i do not have the day off today

and that’s all i have to say about that.

furthermore, should i be concerned that the “N” is wearing off of my keys?  it now looks like an upside down slanty “V”.  it’s not like i use the letter “N” that much more than other letters.  i would think the “E” would be the first to go, or maybe the “R”… “S”, “T”… any of these before the “N”.  whatever.

out celebrating my fiance’s company’s demise i received a voicemail from my boss informing me that we just had layoffs that day too.  awesome.  so far i have a current job but now i’m worried.  i know how my life goes and if they’re going to lay me off it will most likely be while M is unemployed also.  that’s just the way it goes…

~ today i learned… that no matter where they are in the process of the inauguration a new president is official at 12:00pm on inaugural day… no matter what. ~

  3. Oh yikes. What a crappy time to hear that kind of news. Fingers crossed.

I don’t have today off either. Not fair. This also means that my new book reading seat in the book store at the mall was taken. Because apparently anyone who wasn’t at the grocery store stocking up on milk, bread and eggs in preparation for this “huge” storm they’re predicting tonight – was at the mall. ugh.
