what a benchmark

yesterday i received my 1,000th approved comment! (i say approved because i’m not counting the 300+ spam comments i’ve received)

it’s crazy to think that other people have had ANYTHING to say about my rants/bitchfests/posts more or less a thousand things to say.  when i started blogging i was doing it out of boredom and now i can’t imagine not having this outlet. i often think that there will come a day when i won’t have time to blog anymore, or maybe i just won’t want to and then i always wonder when that day might be.  is it once i get married?  have kids?  have a job i care about?  who knows.   but for now i am so grateful to have this place to get my thoughts and ideas out and especially to have readers (albeit a small handful) that actually care to read my (sometimes) incoherentness and even more so feel compelled to comment.

one of my unwritten resolutions this year is to care a little bit more about my job so today’s post is short… but trust me i’ve got plenty more to say.

in the immortal words of the governator… i’ll be back

  1. wooo 1000+!! I love love love the community of the interwebs. It’s surprised me, too, how much I’ve come to love the blog. I started mine because I was (a) bored and (b) kind of lonely, and like you I can’t really imagine life without it now. It’s less a thing and more a place, if that makes sense … probably not forever, but a heck of a good time in the here and now!
