it’s always like this

i’m not quite with-it enough to post a real post today that involves any kind of thought

so here’s what’s happening…

  • last night i went out for dinner and drinks with E.  we both thought mexican would be nice (shocker for me i know) so we decided to try this place called (upside exclamation point) caliente!.  needless to say we were sorely disappointed when the only thing vaguely mexican on the menu was corona and quesadillas.  oh well.  put back a few beers and had a good time.
  • because of the above i’ve been a little slugish today.  however i got up and have already cursed out the online shopping at CC and have hit 2 of the stores in town.  one of them actually had the Mario Kart for Wii (i’m getting it for S for her bday and i’ve been scouring the town for them for weeks).  so luckily i knew a girl there and even though they couldn’t find it while i waited they said they’ll put it behind the counter and i can pick it up later
  • so now i have to hurry up and shower and get dressed to meet a friend out for lunch
  • then run to CC after lunch to pick up the game (fingers crossed they’ve found it by then)
  • finally come home and try to really get some work done before packing and heading out to M’s for the weekend
  • then saturday night we’re staying at my place so i can pack for my trip to CT and then leave sunday afternoon

i’m a little scatterbrained right now with all this happening.  so i’ll just tell you all to have a great weekend!  i’m not sure what next week is going to look like while i work from my sister’s house and have my nieces running around trying to distract me.  hopefully i will be able to post but i can’t promise anything.  so if i don’t see you all for a week i apologize and take care!

  4. Ha. You learn something new every day. I didn’t know Charles Lindbergh was the first Person of the Year. That’s neat to know!

And I LOVEEEEE Mexican food. But I get SO angry when it absolutely sucks.
